Brilliant, riveting, must see theater

See it if You loved the original but are thrilled to see it updated--culturally and politically--to 2024. And brilliantly staged!

Don't see it if Stay away if you believe the original play or movie should only be restaged verbatim. Read more

Great staging, Dizzying, Great acting, Ambitious, Absorbing

See it if I had never seen Cabaret before and I loved this. This is creepy and funny and beautiful and the music very obviously slaps

Don't see it if The ticket price is so high and not accessible to people! Also don't see if you're really scared of clowns.

Edgy, Thought-provoking, Relevant, Great singing, Great staging

See it if You haven’t seen the Alan Cummings revival, this is almost as good. The full takeover of the theatre as the club is phenomenal. A+ staging!

Don't see it if You’re on a budget. Tickets are unnecessarily expensive. Thankfully I was taken by a friend. It was a grand experience. Not worth the price. Read more

Resonant, Relevant, Great singing, Great staging, Entertaining

See it if you love the musical and want to enjoy a uniquely immersive, engaging, thought-provoking, gritty, at times nightmarish production.

Don't see it if you are looking for a lighter experience or prefer to have a more traditional staging where the audience is distanced from the action.

Edgy, Raunchy, Immersive

See it if you haven’t seen Cabaret before or are open to a new version; you’re a fan of the headliners; you have $$$ to spare.

Don't see it if you want to understand all the lyrics; you have strong opinions on character choices; you want deeper commentary on Weimar-era Germany. Read more

Disappointing, Great singing, Confusing

See it if You love this musical and want to see it reinvented, want to be immersed, want to see these songs performed with such life!

Don't see it if Youre sick of the immersion stuff, this production is very gimmicky, the songs are performed well, the rest is meh, eddy is a Muppet,
