See it if you enjoy musical re-enactments of american history, you don’t mind paying a lot for a ticket, & you don’t expect it to live up to the hype

Don't see it if you expect it to be mind blowing. It’s good, some of the soul/r&b songs are transcendent but nearly all the rap is painful. One pop song 👎

See it if Sorry I liked it BUT did not love it-- Songs got repetitive as does the staging

Don't see it if Not a rap fan and I could not tell an act 1 moment from Act 2

See it if You are interested in seeing less traditional theater, like history, and want to see what everyone is talking about

See it if I love the costumes, music and the history of the show. It was very entertaining to see. I thought everyone did a good.
