About the Show

The award-winning play, based on the novel by Yann Martel, comes to Broadway after a hit London run.

After a cargo ship goes under in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, a sixteen-year-old boy named Pi is left stranded on a lifeboat with the most unusual of companions: a Royal Bengal tiger. With time and nature against them, the pair must learn to trust each other if they are to survive the ordeal.

Featuring puppetry and stunning visuals, this new play brings to life Yann Martel's classic novel (previously the basis for an Academy Award-winning film) in a never before seen way.

Don't see it if You can’t deal with a puppet that is so perfectly made that it will terrify you ! The tiger is unbelievable ! There is some violence.
