See it if You love Spice Girls concert, fun songs that make you want to dance or if you’ve seen it before - because this gets better every time you go

See it if Such a wonderfully entertaining musical. The costumes are glorious! And the ladies will have you on your feet and singing along!

Don't see it if If you are not into a rockin’ lesson in history, or want a show that’s more traditional, this one isn’t for you.

Intense, Must see, Great singing, Delightful, Absorbing

See it if you want great music. This show feels like a concert and the energy is unmatched with any other show I've seen.

Don't see it if you want a show with a plot. There was no real plot in this show that went anywhere, but in my opinion, no plot was needed for this show.

Refreshing, Great singing, Entertaining, Clever

See it if You enjoy the range of music in today’s pop music (from dance music to pop ballads).

Don't see it if You expect a full script. This is a concert style show that covers the stories if Henry’s wives.

Time Out New York

"At heart, Six is a sparkly lark—Hamilton Extra Lite, with the multiculturalism and anachronism and knowing name-dropping but without the plot, emotion and depth...Six is not deep. Six is fun. Let yourself go and enjoy the finery."

New York Theatre Guide

"The show itself is a retro-mashup with Gabrielle Slade’s bedazzled costumes featuring Reformation-inspired silhouettes; Carrie-Anne Ingrouille’s choreography showcases Tudor-meets-pop moves; and Emma Bailey’s scenery and Tim Deiling’s lighting feels like what a royal ballroom might look like in a techno disco. Ultimately, the queens’ own stories of overcoming struggles and the show’s circuitous journey to Broadway are also beacons for the power of positivity, perseverance, and coming together in times of struggle. Just like these six “ex-wives,” we’ve all had it rough for the past year and a half, and the queens are here to bring in a new regime. Long may they reign."

"Somehow managing to seem loose and improvisational without missing a beat, the cast (backed by a hard-rocking all-female four-piece band called The Ladies in Waiting) is pretty much flawless, one as good as the next and each distinguishing herself when the time comes."

Best of all, Six is an original musical, with a wildly novel concept, put together by a young creative team, many of them in their twenties. This is how musical theatre moves forward, not by recycling yesterday's hits but by applying fresh thinking and up-to-date wit to a seemingly unlikely subject.

New York Stage Review
October 3rd, 2021

"not what you might call a traditional musical, nor what formerly would have been considered a well-crafted one. But it has mass appeal, immediacy, enthusiasm, and an incredibly high sense of style; and it revels in what used to be called “girl power” but can now more properly be described as simply, or not-so-simply, power."

New York Stage Review
October 3rd, 2021

"Six brings together a sextet of badass queens—clad in brilliant chain-trimmed corsets, studded black boots, and spiky crown-like headpieces designed by Gabriella Slade—to compete, American Idol–style, for a somewhat dubious honor: Who took the most crap from that self-serving, Church-splitting, six-times-married monarch?"

"Indeed, as the queens take their respective turns in the spotlight, spectacle does overwhelm decorum, as the actors stunningly evoke the vocal stylings and stage presences of Beyoncé, Adele, Rihanna, and a few others I probably didn’t catch."
