Epic, Edgy, Great acting, Exquisite, Ambitious

See it if You love amazing dancing, direction, acting, and stage combat. See it if you love hot boys and great country music, and epic storytelling.

Don't see it if You are looking for a more traditional golden-age era musical. This is a country-fried epic tale of class warfare at it's finest.

Must see, Masterful, Great singing, Great acting, Clever

See it if You like great acting, singing and dancing. The choreography is phenomenal. The fight scene is not to be missed.

Don't see it if If you don’t like musicals. Otherwise there is no reason not to see it. One of the best shows on Bway in awhile.

Aches with passion, Impactful, Echoes of west side story, No need to suspend your disbelief, Great staging/singing/choreography/acting

See it if emotions worn on sleeve R4U, new telling of age old story is 4U, rock/country score & well known book R4U, new ideas in fight choreo R4U

Don't see it if U think re-telling age old storie in new ways is cliche, think everything is predictable & game breaker or more than 9 plots in lit exist

Indulgent, Ambitious, Absorbing, Great singing, Great staging

See it if The production exceeds expectations in terms of the staging and singing, but loses steam in the quieter moments of exposition.

Don't see it if A bit too self-aware.

Near perfect, Riveting, Must see, Masterful, Great staging

See it if you what to see the best that Broadway can be! The staging is beyond fantastic; it's revolutionary. The young cast blends perfectly.

Don't see it if you're looking for a big happy Disney production.

Riveting, Great staging, Great direction, Must see, Phenomenal

See it if you love musicals w/ original music, outstanding staging & direction. Great voices & choreography. Some scenes will take your breath away.

Don't see it if you can't overlook a predictable storyline and some corny moments. No well known celebs and the music is not pop - it has a bluegrass feel. Read more
