Banal, Confusing, Disappointing, Insipid, Slow

See it if You can endure an absurd book to see a fine lead performance of Jo Lampert as Joan.

Don't see it if You need a comprehensible book to go with some decent music.

Slow, Disappointing, Dull, dull, dull

See it if you can't pass up an opportunity to hear David Byrne music, or appreciate shows with concepts that outshine the execution.

Don't see it if you like to stay awake at a performance. Read more

Cliched, Disappointing, Indulgent, Slow, Insipid

See it if You need to see everything David Byrne is involved in. You can wait till a really good last half hour.

Don't see it if you don't want to waste 1 1/2 hours.

Disappointing, Great singing, Great acting, Slow

See it if You're a fan of Jo Lambert or David Byrne. The show was disappointing and slow. I wanted to like it so much more than I did.

Don't see it if You want a musical, a staged show, or entertainment.

Disappointing, Thought-provoking

See it if you support the development of new theater. The music was beautiful but the whole approach was wrong and Joan was not powerful enough.

Don't see it if you don't have money to spare. It was disappointing.

Disappointing, Great acting, Indulgent, Promising

See it if you want to see an amazing performance by Jo Lampert as Joan. She's a rock star!

Don't see it if You get frustrated when a director takes what could be a pretty good show and ruins it. Timbers screws the pooch again!!

Disappointing, Missed the mark, Imperfect

See it if you can appreciate something new/different in theater, even if imperfect; to see Jo Lampart (she does all she can with what she's given)

Don't see it if you are expecting fantastic music (because of Byrne); you will be frustrated with mundane, on-the-nose lyrics; want depth from the story Read more

Ugh!, Poke-yer-eyes-out, David b what were you thinking??!!, Excruciating, Great singing

See it if you have no other options. I don't mean other options as in shows to see, but it's this or death... Many of my 17 year old students liked it

Don't see it if you have anything else to do
