See it if you want a well-acted, fun, silly musical about a man-eating plant.

Don't see it if you want either a more serious musical or one with elaborate production numbers. This is a fairly simply staged show that's silly and fun.

See it if you like to laugh and enjoy a musical theater black comedy in a small venue with big plants. Christian Borle is a master of comedic timing.

Don't see it if you only like intellectual shows with a social message or hate musical theater in general. Not for those with a fear of puppets!

"The show’s most charming quality is its feeling of having been put on for the hell of it. I’m sure it’s going to make money. It’s a dream cast of consummate pros. But — and my eyes look like hearts while I type this — the infectious energy is pure amateur."
