Hilarious, Enchanting, Absorbing, Delightful, Entertaining

See it if you love the classics, spoofs, great doo-wop, nuanced-yet-hilarious performances, and overall, great musical comedy all around!

Don't see it if you're not into any of the above.

Funny, Delightful, Entertaining, Clever

See it if It's both irreverent and an homage to the classical musical form with characters that draw you in immediately. Truly so much fun.

Don't see it if There is an almost cartoonish depiction of gore. Don't see it if you don't like to laugh until your stomach hurts.

Great staging, Great singing, Funny, Exquisite, Entertaining

See it if you love this show and want to see it in a super small space with very talented performers

Don't see it if you want a huge flashy production - this is a very small house

Campy, Must see, Great acting, Entertaining, Funny

See it if You like fun, campy shows with great music. Jeremy Jordan & Christian Borle were phenomenal and so funny! I smiled so much my face hurt!

Don't see it if You don't like science fiction themed shows or smaller, more intimate theatres. Or if you have issues with depictions of domestic violence.

"The secret to this production's success, though, is Michael Mayer's boffo staging. It's as though he directed with a magnifying glass, amplifying all the best parts. Of course, it helps to have a company this gifted."

"Everyone in Michael Mayer's production is on their best behavior, handling these bizarre goods with a welcome delicacy…Mayer and company preserve the show's oddball double vision, in which slapstick murder and honest yearning keep company, with results that are both charming and amusingly sordid."

4/5 Stars "Anyone who's been wondering if Jonathan Groff is too handsome to play the schlubby Seymour in 'Little Shop of Horrors' can stop worrying right now. He's ideally cast as theater's most famous green-thumbed geek"

4/5 Stars "Audrey II is back, and the talking topiary is just as primed for conquest as ever. This new production is a delightful reminder of just how charming and weird and funny and sweet the 1982 mock-horror musical is"

"This extraordinarily smart musical...may well be the best argument that one doesn't need a happy ending to leave the theater with a smile on your face. All you actually need is two hours of Alan Menken's ear-catching tunes, a ton of supremely clever lyrics and a host of beautifully drawn characters."

"In a counterintuitive casting coup, handsome Jonathan Groff stars as the nebbish Seymour Krelborn who works at Mushnik's (a funny, kvetchy Tom Alan Robbins) failing flower shop on Skid Row. Although it is difficult to forget Groff's physical attributes, he delivers a brilliantly realized sad sack Seymour."
