A.R. Gurney's classic epistolary drama, starring a rotating cast of celebrities.

A Pulitzer Prize finalist, A.R. Gurney’s Love Letters is a two-actor drama comprised of letters sent between two friends over a lifetime. Andrew and Melissa, both born into wealth and status, start their correspondence in childhood with birthday party thank-you notes. Their letters continue through their boarding school and college days while they are romantically attached and later through their individual marriages and careers. As the actors read the letters aloud, an evocative, touching, frequently funny, yet revealing pair of character studies unfold, where what is implied is as affecting as what is written down.

Starring a rotating cast of celebrities, including Matthew Broderick, Talia Balsam, J. Smith-Cameron Victor Garber, Brooke Shields, and John Slattery.

See it if You love a wonderful story, exquisite acting, and want to leave truly caring for Melissa and Andy. What a love story, it will stay with me.

Don't see it if You don’t enjoy pure acting. There is no set, no movement, just 2 brilliant actors (I saw Brooke Shields and John Slattery).

See it if you love snail mail. This is a must! J.Smith Cameron + Victor Garber were wonderful. The letters exchanged were also so human & full of life

Don't see it if you want more than seeing 2 actors read from letters. It's beautifully delivered and with honest emotions but may not be for everyone.
