Martin Moran explores belonging, forgiveness, and human connection after a modern plague.
In the aftermath of a modern plague, communities fracture, identities harden, and the meaning of belonging becomes uncertain. In this solo performance, Martin Moran explores otherness, forgiveness, fear, and the challenge of reconnecting in a world shaped by division. Blending vulnerability with humor, the play asks how people can find one another again when familiar social bonds have broken down.
Playwright and performer Martin Moran is known for his autobiographical solo plays The Tricky Part (2004 OBIE Award winner and two-time Drama Desk Award nominee) and All the Rage (Lucille Lortel Award winner for Outstanding Solo Show). His Broadway credits include Spamalot, Cabaret, Titanic, Wicked, and the revival of Funny Girl. Director Seth Barrish is Moran’s longtime collaborator and co-founder of The Barrow Group, with directing credits that include The Tricky Part and All the Rage.
Other Bodies is the third solo work in Moran’s trilogy, following The Tricky Part and All the Rage. The world premiere runs at The Barrow Group in New York City from November 19 through December 20, 2026.
