"Taking the young ones to the theatre during the holidays always seems like a good idea beforehand, but often, you wind up at a show that bores the adults or alternative turns the kids into fussy little fidget machines. That won’t happen at 'The Greatest Pirate Holiday Specatularrr!' It is primarily an exercise in children’s theatre, or maybe theatre appropriate for children, with enough word play and innuendo to keep Mom and Dad amused."

"The jokes in general were more kid-oriented but many parents, such as myself enjoyed them as well, especially some of the references...The show is peppered with really funny and improvised songs that contribute to the lighthearted atmosphere."
