Funny, Thought-provoking, Clever, Great acting, Riveting

See it if you'd like a funny, smart, entertaining, edgy, creative, well-staged/acted/sung reimagining of AK. I loved it! So did the audience. Brava!

Don't see it if you dislike broad comedy or need high production values (altho costumes are great). Intellig feminist angle. Prodn deserves a wider audience

Must see, Clever, Funny, Great writing, Entertaining

See it if you would like two hours of non-stop dazzlement: spunky music, a young, energetic troupe of actors, laughter, costumes & great direction.

Don't see it if you want this tale untouched by both current writing and music composition brilliance that relates to so much today.

See it if you love theater. Just a fabulous evening! Singing Dancing Lugubrious Russians. All the good stuff!

Don't see it if Knowing the novel will keep you from enjoying this delightful production.

Great acting, Great singing, Ambitious, Delightful, Clever

See it if You want a truly beautifully done adaptation. Funny, smart, and heartbreaking, the lead singer is exquisite and the acting is phenomenal.

Don't see it if Occasional tone issues. The venue is a little rough. Despite the great use of the outside space. The chairs are hard and unpleasant.

Intelligent, Resonant, Quirky, Entertaining, Clever

See it if You like the story of Anna Karenina. Or you don't know the story and need a dramatic overview. It is well-told here.

Don't see it if You are looking for an actual musical--this was more of a play with some music interspersed.

Funny, Romantic, Intense, Quirky, Great staging

See it if You enjoy show that do a lot with a little. Enjoy 90's alt rock flavored tunes. Want to see Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson meets Tolstoy.

Don't see it if You have no patience for shows that sometimes feel a tad overlong, which is in fact referenced within the script. Read more
