Enchanting, Quirky, Delightful

See it if You enjoy thoughtful, bi-lingual child-friendly theatre. You're interested in a fresh reimagination of The Wizard of Oz.

Don't see it if You want something big budget, punchy, and sweeping. You will be annoyed by untranslated Spanish sections.

Touching, Catchy songs, Talented cast, Sweet, Adorable

See it if sweet retelling of Wizard of Oz. Impressive performances, especially Nya Noemi as Dora. Looking forward to seeing what she does next.

Don't see it if bothered by some Spanish in dialog & songs although the show is mostly in English. Don't want to see a kid's show although I was captivated.

Fluffy, Great singing, Entertaining, Enchanting, Clever

See it if You (& your family) would enjoy this engaging, energetic, + modern-day take on the Wizard of Oz, about finding a 'home' between two cultures

Don't see it if You're looking for flashy, high-budget spectacle, or if the runtime (just over an hour) is a bit too long for your kid's attention span Read more

Good writing for children's theater, Relevant, Great singing, Great acting, Clever

See it if you'd like to see a children's production that is set in Chicago with a single Mexican American mother and her 15 yr old ala the Wiz of Oz.

Don't see it if you want big production values with the set, costumes and props or you want a live orchestra.

"I found this new production...as tender and moving as it is ebullient and funny."
