Absorbing, Ambitious, Delightful, Masterful, Enchanting

See it if you like seeing work up close and personal. Theater which seizes the senses upon entry. A dazzling tour de force.

Don't see it if you hate to stand.

Clever, Entertaining, Funny, Riveting

See it if U like immersive theater. This was fun and reminded me of nightclubs in the 90's. Different rooms, difference scenes & acts. It's fun!!!

Don't see it if U need a seat, need to understand the language or don't wanna read!!

Ambitious, Confusing, Indulgent

See it if are a fan of Clarice Lispector, appreciate expressive performances (though unclear to what end), and enjoy avant garde, artsy theater

Don't see it if you don't like participatory, immersive productions. Don't expect a storyline. Dialogue largely in Portuguese (with subtitles on screens) Read more

Entertaining, Thought-provoking, Indulgent, Ambitious

See it if you like immersive theatre and/or Viewpoints compositions. Not a lot of coherence here, but entertaining all the same.

Don't see it if you don't like being in direct contact with the theatre you see. Or if you don't like reading subtitles. Read more

Cliched, Slow, Ambitious

See it if you like artsy, avant-garde shows, modern dance, and immersive theater. Helps a lot if you speak Portuguese and English.

Don't see it if you expect linear plot. The space and the cast size are lot smaller than many other immersive shows in NYC such as Sleep No More.

Times Square Chronicles
November 11th, 2016

"This avant-garde show is fully immersive theatre, with six actors bringing nine vignettes of Lispector’s work to life in an artist’s loft...The standout of the night was the burlesque-esque dancer Carolina de Oliveira in a semi-sheer bodysuit and men’s black trench coat who tantalized the audience with passionate modern dance and a touchless tango with Ricardo Burgos...Serving wine to guests would have enhanced the experience."
