Absorbing, Great singing, Relevant, Profound, Must see

See it if you have children - or even if you don't! I enjoyed this production as much as my children.

Don't see it if your children cannot sit through an hour long show without getting up - there is unfortunately no re-admittance if you leave the theatre.

Ambitious, Delightful, Intelligent, Great staging, Thought-provoking

See it if you can bring thoughtful, imaginative, children; if you enjoy a creatively staged musical with a multi-layered story.

Don't see it if you or your child don't like to interact with actors in a close face-to-face space.

"Rebel Playhouse doesn't just want to entertain your children. They want to educate and empower them as well...The show is more than just a show where you sit back and watch the action unfold around you...During the pre-show, actors who play animals in the show wander around interacting with the audience. Their acting is terrific, and their movements and manner are completely true to the animals they are portraying...The show is a musical, and the songs are actually pretty good."

“Playwright Bush and director/choreographer Sutliff lightly differentiate characters without sacrificing the fable’s clean lines…‘Old Turtle’ packs a considerable emotional punch…Szepietowski is a striking young performer with a lovely voice. Her anguish is palpable and, in these volatile times, easy to identify with. The instructive aspect of the fable kicks in with an urgency that keeps it from getting didactic, as both humans and animals grapple with fear of the other."
