The Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre revives its holiday puppet show for very young children featuring famous fairy-tale characters.

When Baby Bear invites Santa to star in Mama and Papa Bear's annual holiday show, a comedy of errors ensues. Written and directed by the theatre’s longtime artistic director, Bruce Cannon, 'The Three Bears Holiday Bash' draws from the stories of Hanukkah, 'The Night Before Christmas,' and Kwanzaa so everyone can join in on the fun. There's even a '12 Days of Christmas' sing-along! Best for ages 3 to 7.

"This is a holiday show that included other holidays and got everyone into the holiday spirit...The show featured adorable marionettes…There was also a special visit by a marionette Santa Claus, which was a bit hit with all the kids!..The numerous colorful marionettes, festive songs and warm and welcoming atmosphere are what made the show."

"The play itself wasn't long but it was enjoyable…There was a dancing flamingo, neon bears and a baby bear who nearly slept and missed seeing Santa. The songs were catchy and the kids enjoyed it. But the real treat are the puppets themselves moving around stage."
