Tyler Perry stars in the role that made him famous; Madea is on the run from the law in this new adventure. More…
In trouble with the local authorities, Mabel Simmons, a.k.a. Madea, is on the run. With no place to turn, she moves in with her friend Bam who is recovering from surgery. Unbeknownst to Bam however, Madea is only using the "concerned friend" gag as a way to hide out from the police. But as they say…all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose. Madea’s presence at Bam’s house is just what the doctor ordered. Bam’s family is in desperate need of some home improvement, and it is the kind of family makeover that only Madea can deliver.
See it if you like Tyler Perry, I guess; want to hear some amazing gospel singing that's smashed into random parts of the play for some reason
Don't see it if you can't deal with Perry's sexist, overbearing religious nonsense, or bad writing, or the overflowing cheese
See it if you like a typical black comedy and AMAZING singers (my cousin is in this as well btw)
Don't see it if you think Tyler Perry's writing is cliche. It is pretty much the same thing as every other thing he's written in all honesty.
See it if I loved everything about it Mr. Perry amazes me everytime never have i been disappointed by any Tyler Perry movie, or play.
