Great staging, Great singing, Disappointing

See it if You want to see a safe / standard Broadway musical with excellent signing from the four leads and very impressive staging.

Don't see it if You want to see a faithful musical adaptation of The Great Gatsby. The songs and choreograph were ok, but there were no standouts for me. Read more

Entertaining, Indulgent, Great singing, Solid eh

See it if you like Jeremy Jordan, Eva Noblezada, or the roaring 20s era.

Don't see it if you want a show that is truly interesting and with good lyrics.

Indulgent, Overproduced, Disappointing

See it if Jeremy and Eva's talents are wasted on this overproduced pulp. JJ’s voice, sumptuous set pieces, and a better second half were highlights.

Don't see it if For the shallow writing, awkward staging, and what the heck was that choreography. And one too many “old sports”.

Ambitious

See it if You want a solid, but unremarkable musical. Everything is good. Nothing is great. The sets are cool though.

Don't see it if You want nuance or innovation.

Great singing, Cool sets, Beautiful costumes

See it if You want a faithful adaptation of the book with great singing from Jeremy Jordan

Ambitious, Cliched, Overrated

See it if Jeremy Jordan's singing is amazing. The sets were beautiful.

Don't see it if Very flat, bland show with no depth, no chemistry between Jeremy and Eva. Eva didn't seem at home in this role like she did in Hadestown.
