See it if You love a classic musical with big staging and beautiful songs.

Don't see it if You prefer a show that's fast paced. South Pacific slowly builds throughout (but is still engaging to watch!)

Dated, Entertaining, Long

See it if you enjoy R&H musicals with classic musical theatre styles of music.

Don't see it if you like modern musicals and find slightly racially insensitive content hard to watch.

Relevant, Epic, Great singing

See it if You enjoy the Golden age of Musical Theatre. Great staging and some stunning performances. Very relevant in terms of its themes on racism.

Don't see it if You don't like slow building musicals. Characters have problematic views and some offensive language is used. The musical does not condone.
