A night-shift officer races to save a caller in a real-time emergency thriller.
This real-time thriller centers on Joe, a troubled police officer working the night shift, who receives a 999 call from a woman named Emily. As the call unfolds, Joe attempts to piece together fragmented information to locate and assist her, navigating mounting tension and uncertainty. Confined largely to the control room, the drama builds through voice, inference, and rapidly shifting assumptions, as Joe begins to suspect that the situation may not be as straightforward as it first appears.
The play stars Russell Tovey as Joe and is directed by Felix Barrett. Written by Chloë Moss, it is based on the films Den Skyldige and The Guilty.
