About the Show
A new festive adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s beloved novel 'The Wind in the Willows'.
Set in modern-day London, 'The Wind in the W̵i̵l̵l̵o̵w̵s̵ Wilton's' begins in Hyde Park during springtime and the story unfolds along the River Thames as the seasons change. We end up at Mole’s home in time for Christmas - but only if Toad Hall can be saved from the weasels!
'The Wind in the W̵i̵l̵l̵o̵w̵s̵ Wilton’s' is a festive family-friendly show, that tackles modern-day climate issues through the mediums of song & puppetry.
" ‘Wind in the Wiltons’ makes modern London look so awful that its happy ending feels less than fully convincing – but it also shows the power of community in a grim landscape, striking a note of seasonal goodwill that’s just enough to send you singing as well as raging into the night."
"Haldar holds the attention not only by honouring the story, but also by filling it with music and action...But for all the thrills, it is the sweet friendship of Ratty and Mole that triumphs."
