Cynthia Erivo stars as Dracula in a radical new reimagining of Bram Stoker’s gothic classic. Set deep in the desolate wilderness where a crumbling castle hides a centuries-old presence, the story follows Count Dracula as he emerges from the shadows to pursue a new target—an encounter that unleashes a chilling and seductive terror.

In this visually arresting adaptation, Erivo embodies all 23 characters, bringing to life a haunting web of desire, obsession, and transformation. The production marks the Broadway debut of adaptor and director Kip Williams’ acclaimed “cinetheatre” style—first developed in his The Picture of Dorian Gray—which fuses live performance with live video to create a dynamic, immersive experience.

Following its 2024 premiere at Sydney Theatre Company, Dracula arrives in New York with the original creative team, reuniting Williams and Erivo in a bold retelling that pushes the limits of theatrical storytelling and performance.
