Fairytale figures collide as wishes unravel consequences beyond happy endings.
A baker and his wife venture into the woods to break a witch’s curse, crossing paths with familiar fairytale figures including Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack, and Rapunzel. As their stories intertwine, wishes are granted but come with unforeseen consequences, revealing what happens after “happily ever after” when choices begin to unravel.
This production of Into the Woods is directed by Jordan Fein (Fiddler on the Roof), with set and costume design by Tom Scutt (Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club). The musical features a book by James Lapine and music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
Presented by London Theatre Company in association with Jamie Wilson Productions, this Olivier Award-winning revival transfers to the West End following its run at the Bridge Theatre.
