Charming, Great characterisation, Great acting, Joyful, Delightful

See it if you love a character-driven drama; to see charming audience interactions or to warm your heart with a joy-filled play about male friendship

Don't see it if you have other plans - no reason not to see this delightful, engaging play. It is character driven - less football focused than you'd think. Read more

Football, Aspirations, Family/friendship, Community, Hope/fear

See it if you enjoy inner city issues - 3 friends on a quest to become pro footballers & grappling with the crucial question of belonging.

Don't see it if Inner city/Urban issues and/or football isn’t your choice of theatre.

See it if You can appreciate good storytelling. It’s stripped back but felt a very honest portrayal of teenage friendship, hopes and dreams.

Don't see it if I’m elderly & won’t pretend I understood all the street talk/jargon but it didn’t matter. The feelings/emotions were very clear & heartfelt. Read more

Great writing, Entertaining, Intelligent, Great staging, Absorbing

See it if You want to see a story about the relationship of three young men. You don’t have to be into football to enjoy, that is just a vehicle.

Don't see it if It is 90mins without interval if that is an issue. Don’t sit next to the stage if you easily startle as the ball will hit the nearby fence

See it if This was really good. Great storytelling and drama from the 3 awesome actors involved. Simple set but totally believed everything - great !

Don't see it if If you want a huge set or big west end number. This is small scale, as it's supposed to be - they've let the actors speak and it's power !
