Dated, Ambitious, Enchanting, Clever, Absorbing

See it if You love classic musicals staged and sang to sumptuous perfection!

Don't see it if A bittersweet/sad ending leaves you feeling unsatisfied.

Thought-provoking, Slow, Romantic, Delightful, Absorbing

See it if You like a classic musical with big staging. It looked and sounded great. Fantastic dancing and storytelling.

Don't see it if You don’t like the longest show in the world. It’s fantastic but needs shaving off half an hour or so.

Insipid, Dated, Slow, Funny, Exquisite

See it if you'd enjoy an exquisitely choreographed extravaganza featuring extended instrumental breaks and elaborate costumes.

Don't see it if you cannot withstand dated story, a confusing 25-minute framing device and an unnecessarily extended pace, etcetera, etcetera... (IYKYK!)

Dated, Confusing

See it if If you want to see something that made history, but other than that, nothing special.

Don't see it if If you want something with bit more action and updated!

Refreshing, Funny, Entertaining, Enchanting, Delightful

See it if You enjoy modern takes on classic musicals. You appreciate good sets, choreography, storytelling and comedic moments.

Don't see it if You prefer shorter productions, it’s a long one. Also if operatic singing isn’t your thing.
