Schmigadoon! follows New York doctors Josh and Melissa, a couple whose struggling relationship leads them to a backpacking retreat meant to rekindle their romance. Instead, they stumble into Schmigadoon, a mysterious town straight out of a Golden Age musical, where the residents communicate exclusively through song and dance.

Trapped in this Technicolor world, the pair soon learn that the only way to return home is to find true love—though it’s unclear whether that love still lies with each other.
