An actor arrives late at a sound studio for a last-minute audiobook recording, where he is handed a chilling ghost story to read without having seen the script. As the recording progresses, the horrors described in the story begin to escape the page and haunt the recording studio itself. The production uses binaural sound technology, with the audience listening through headphones as the story unfolds between the recording booth and the fictional world being narrated.

Jamie Armitage writes and directs the production. His writing and directing credits include *An Interrogation* at Hampstead Theatre and Summerhall, while his directing credits include *SIX: The Musical*, for which he received a Tony Award nomination, as well as *Straight Line Crazy* at The Shed and *The Red and the Black* at Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre.

Ben and Max Ringham collaborate on the production as sound designers and are credited as multi-award-winning composers, sound designers and writers.
