A Tony Award-winning immersive adaptation of A Christmas Carol by Jack Thorne and Matthew Warchus.

A Christmas Carol follows Ebenezer Scrooge, a cold-hearted miser visited on Christmas Eve by four ghosts who transport him across visions of his past, present, and future. Confronted with the consequences of a lifetime of fear and self-imposed isolation, Scrooge is forced to reckon with what he has become and whether change remains possible. The production wraps the audience around the action in an immersive staging that incorporates traditional Christmas carols including Joy to the World, Silent Night, and It Came Upon the Midnight Clear.

This production is adapted by Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Netflix’s Adolescence) and directed by Matthew Warchus (Matilda the Musical, God of Carnage). .

The production itself has won five Tony Awards and returns as an annual Broadway engagement, drawing on Charles Dickens' original novella to frame a communal holiday theatrical experience.
