See it if you love magic and being carried on the joy of the magic and the magician's story (with a very good contortionist assistant)

Don't see it if magic itself is not enough for you and you don't like an audience with lots of kids and families

See it if you have kids who enjoy magic tricks and illusions. Jason Bishop performs those very well and is entertaining.

Don't see it if you don't enjoy fairly conventional illusions and magic tricks.

"It’s geared for children but also delights adults with its superb artistry...The youthful Mr. Bishop is highly personable and delivers wry patter chock full of one-liners throughout...Kim Hess is perfection...Many of the feats are projected onto a large screen onstage. This adds to the excitement as one can see up close the stunning sleight of hand bits...Though billed as family entertainment, the enchanting 'Believe In Magic' will arouse the sense of wonder in anyone."

"The practitioner is skilled. Kim’s minor levitation is underwhelming but an instance where she rises 12′ horizontally and the magician unexpectedly joins her is a crowd-pleaser...To my mind there are two lovely moments, ironically easier illusions....This is not a kids magic show...Bishop often mutters under his breath when lines don’t land well...The audience is nonetheless quiet and well behaved. Perhaps they’re getting more out of this than I imagine."

Times Square Chronicles

"His jaw-dropping tricks amaze at The New Victory. From slight of hand, teleportation, to vaporizing his dog...His coup de grace was when he made one million dollars in cash vanish into thin air and then showered the audience with dollar bills...What makes this show so family friendly is the interaction Bishop has with the audience...Bishop's quick wit and a sarcastic humor will keep the adults amused and the children will ooh and ah over his masterful talent."

“Bishop is charming magician who has a great rapport with his audiences...He has a few new tricks up his sleeve that you probably have never have seen before...This show is a bit longer than the New Victory Theater's typical show. However, the show is so entertaining that it will go by in a flash and you'll actually wish it was longer. Anyone who is old enough to understand the concept of magic will enjoy this truly entertaining show.”

"A breathtaking show you don’t want to miss!...Accompanied by his talented assistant Hess, Jason Bishop will simply leave you dumbfounded...Both amazed at the clever tricks and a little frustrated that I couldn’t figure them out!...All of his tricks are simply mind-boggling! Each trick is more amazing than the next...Jason has a lot of charisma and wit. His humor appeals to both kids and adults alike and his easy-going, laid-back stage persona makes him very relatable.”

“Bishop returns with new, jaw-dropping tricks...I was very fond of the creative use of space coupled with multimedia, making the show interesting, different, and clever...Bishop’s casual and funny banter keeps him real and grounded in a world of illusion and mystery. Though very charismatic and likable, his humor was hit ‘n miss at times, which led his comments to the family audience, which included many kids, to occasionally feel surprisingly off-putting...Totally worth seeing.”
