A young Marcel Marceau helps Jewish children escape Nazi-occupied France.

Marcel on the Train explores the little-known wartime story of Marcel Marceau before he became the world’s most famous mime. Set in Nazi-occupied France, the play follows Marceau as he risks his life to guide Jewish children to safety, relying on courage and imagination in the face of violence and fear.

Co-written by and starring Tony Award nominee Ethan Slater (SpongeBob SquarePants, Wicked), this new work examines the early experiences that shaped an artist whose legacy would later reach audiences worldwide.
