Absorbing, Big personalities, Poignant, Human resolve, Great staging!

See it if you enjoy 19th century London brought to life weaved around the characters' relationships to one another. Riveting play with music.

Don't see it if your preference is light hearted musicals/plays without music.

Great songs, Mediocre story, Bleak staging

See it if you're looking for a spare adaptation of a (rightfully) neglected Dickens story, or like me a fan of PJ Harvey who wrote some original songs

Don't see it if you're looking for a tight adaptation, at 3:15h this is overlong, production is black on black with some interesting lighting, just so-so.

Great staging, Slow, Insipid

See it if If you don't mind watching a Dickens play. Interesting staging with moving platform and hanging lights

Don't see it if For the songs or plot. This is no mystery thriller as you would expect from the synopsis.
