Great theater, Inventive take, Great ensemble

See it if you like extraordinary theatrical experiences that breath fresh new life & insight into an old work, with new modern translation & great cast

Don't see it if you don't like new takes on the classics. This is not for everyone, and certainly at 2:45h is about 30 minutes too long, still an experience

Slow, Epic, Absorbing

See it if Holds attention and actually manages to be funny a few times. Novel staging and cast so even those averse to Chekhov might see it anew.

Don't see it if Don't want to see more 19thC Russians being miserable about their lot.

Ambitious, Clever, Absorbing

See it if Something quietly special that creeps up on you and explodes. Superb acting from the whole cast. Inventive and relevant adaptation.

Don't see it if You like your Chekov traditionally done. Or if you don’t like audience participation.

Cherry borechard, Pointless, Boring, Overlong

See it if You have low standards for entertainment and like everything. You don't like sets or backdrops.

Don't see it if You want coherent arcs...or in this case character flatlines. Could have been told in 5 minutes. Bad acting. Read more
