Alice and Abigail are sisters whose lives have taken dramatically different paths. Alice is a Nobel Prize-winning medical scientist preparing to leave Earth forever on a one-way mission into deep space, while Abigail has remained close to home. As they reconnect before Alice's departure, they confront their contrasting lives, their shared past, and the reality of saying goodbye before the countdown reaches zero.

The play is written by Alex Rugman, an award-winning playwright, graduate of Hampstead Theatre's Inspire Programme, and co-artistic director of Freight Theatre. His previous works include *How To Save A Rock*, *Move Fast and Break Things*, and *An Investigation*. The production is directed by Anna Ledwich, whose previous Hampstead Theatre credits include *Bird Grove*, *The Billionaire Inside Your Head*, and the Olivier Award-nominated productions *Dry Powder* and *Four Minutes Twelve Seconds*.

Presented in Hampstead Theatre's Downstairs space, the production explores sibling relationships, family dynamics, ambition, and the emotional consequences of a one-way journey into space through an original contemporary drama.
