Hilarious, Clever

See it if you want to see a new musical constructed before your eyes. Funny and intelligent, but obviously a tendency to be a bit hit and miss.

Don't see it if you’re looking for a polished work. You can’t handle the odd dud alongside frequent moments of wit and hilarity.

See it if you like improv comedy, whether the result is actually funny or so-so.

Don't see it if you're expecting smth hysterically funny (set-up differs in every show, so your comedy might be better or worse than last night's comedy) Read more

Must see, Intelligent, Great acting, Funny, Clever

See it if you want to see a brand new musical created live in front of you. I’ve been multiple times and have had so many great nights.

Don't see it if you don’t like improvised musicals.

Must see, Hilarious, Surprising

See it if you like to be surprised. The only certain thing is you'll see a comedy musical, but each show is different, you never know what you'll see

Don't see it if you want well-written theatre. This is improvised so the plot may not make sense at all and it may have holes.

Great acting, Funny, Enchanting, Delightful, Absorbing

See it if You like musical theatre, incredible singling and funny theatre

Don't see it if You want a very clear plot line, as the package says it’s all improvised so very messy

Although the set could hardly be skimpier...this is impro with the full accent on pro: top-dollar amusement that doesn’t let up from frisky, low-key start to standing ovation-inducing finish.

You’ve got to be in with a good audience for Showstopper! That’s not for reasons of surround-sound atmospherics but because it is the punters who make the show. Literally.

The book, music and lyrics may not be hugely sophisticated but the choruses are catchy and the quick-thinking cast, who alternate throughout the run, deliver some surprising plot twists.

The musical accompaniments led by MD Duncan Walsh Atkins really shine. Seamlessly tying the action on stage to what the audience wanted, the musicians were able to bring the show to a blazing finish.
