Imelda Staunton returns to the West End in the new revival of Jerry Herman's classic comedy musical.
Dolly Levi is a widow turned meddling matchmaker in 19th-century New York City. Dolly's latest mission is to find a spouse for the wealthy but miserly Horace Vandergelder, even though she secretly harbors feelings for him. As she orchestrates various romantic entanglements, chaos ensues at the Harmonia Gardens restaurant, where she helps young couples find love.
Four-time Olivier Award winner Imelda Staunton ('Follies', 'Gypsy') returns to the West End stage in the role of Dolly Levi in this new revival of Jerry Herman's comedy musical. She is joined by fellow Oliver Award-winners Andy Nyman ('Fiddler on the Roof') as Horace Vandergelder & Jenna Russell ('Flowers for Mrs Harris') as Irene Molloy, Olivier Award-nominee Tyrone Huntley ('Jesus Christ Superstar') as Barnaby Tucker, and Harry Hepple ('Hamilton') as Cornelius Jackl.
This production is directed by Dominic Cooke ('GOOD').
