Diana Goodman seems to have a perfect life – she is educated, financially comfortable, and happily married with two teenage children. But Diana has lived with bipolar disorder and delusional episodes for the past seventeen years - conditions that have affected everyone around her and have nearly torn her family apart. Under the care of her doctor, Diana tries to get better, while her husband Dan confronts his own depression, her daughter Natalie grapples with a budding romance, and her son Gabe serves as Diana’s confidante.

This production marks the UK premiere of Tom Kitt & Brian Yorkey's musical which was the winner of the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama & three Tony Awards.

Artistic Director of the Donmar Warehouse, Michael Longhurst, directs this production, which transfers to the West End following a run at the Donmar Warehouse from August 2023.
