Moving, Great writing, Great staging, Great singing, Great acting

See it if you want to see something unique - an emotional relationship-based drama, touching on family, faith, ethics, care of and for others

Don't see it if you don't enjoy three act plays. Trauma is hinted at, then discussed more openly. End of life care and abortion are also mentioned. Read more

See it if You are a fan of family melodramas with lots of decades-old secrets, betrayals and angst.

Don't see it if You hated August: Osage County and Long Day’s Journey into Night.

Funny, Heavy themes, Excellent writing, Intelligent, Great acting

See it if You like plays about family and show business. Incredible performances across the board playing authentic characters. Great storyline.

Don't see it if You don’t like long plays. This could have done with 20 minutes off the runtime, and still been able to say the same thing, in my opinion.

Nostalgic, Evocative mood piece, Great acting

See it if you liked Jez Butterworth's The Ferryman-or you enjoy a good story with interesting characters, told well-but highly predictable in content

Don't see it if you want something a little less cliche in the drama arena. This is a well done play, very enjoyable - but hardly a new tale. Read more

Resonant, Refreshing, Great writing, Absorbing

See it if you're happy to sit in the Pinter for 3 hours. The awful legroom is mostly assuaged by the fantastic writing & captivating story

Don't see it if you don't enjoy long family, self-contained stories. Though you really should, because they're always the best.
