Relevant, Absorbing

See it if you're interested in the institution of journalism and won't be scared off by a little magical realism.

Don't see it if you're triggered by super loud explosion noises or if you're not fond of teenage characters onstage.

Committed actors, Gallows humor, Ptsd on stage, Frontline journalism, Magic realism?

See it if reminder how real journalists commit 2 "break" a story, peek behind the fractures of "regular" life that PTSD causes, causes of commitment

Don't see it if loud noises, blood & cake tasting are dealbreakers for U, don't want 2 think about or be accountable for casualties of war i.e. journalists

Thought-provoking, Relevant, Intelligent, Absorbing, Great acting

See it if You are interested in the role of reporters in keeping the public informed about world conflicts.

Don't see it if Very well acted but 80 minute play would have been better if the plot was more developed.

Entertaining, Ambitious, Thought-provoking, Underrated, Absorbing

See it if you appreciate risk-taking. Alexis Scheer's script's quirky, bold, inventive & sharp if uneven. This production's failure feels directorial.

Don't see it if raw emotion. Though Scheer's script goes there repeatedly, these performances don't; the production does mine her humor successfully. Read more
