Max Webster directs this adaptation of Philip K Dick’s short story about justice and free will.

2050: famed neuroscientist Dame Julia Anderton is about to launch the next phase of her pioneering Pre-Crime programme, detaining people for crimes before they are committed. When she herself is accused of a future murder, she goes on the run to uncover the truth behind the system's flaws. As she delves deeper into a conspiracy, she must navigate a world of moral ambiguity, advanced technology, and ethical dilemmas, ultimately questioning the validity of the Precog predictions and the ethics of preemptive law enforcement.

Max Webster ('Life of Pi') directs this production, which is recommended for ages 14+.

See it if you love Sci Fi and want to see some extraordinary staging which skilfully weaves in lighting and video. You like a puzzle to mull over.

Don't see it if you don't like things which are too futuristic. It also took a while to warm up, it was a bit too expository and wooden at the start. Read more

See it if You enjoy Sci Fi, the classic movie and want to see the genre outside its traditional platform.

Don't see it if You don't enjoy experimental theatre. The special effects clearly cannot match those in a film production.

Don't see it if You like a gripping story told by great actors. Some of the cast are a little off and I’m not sure it was intentional.
