About the Show

Alan Menken's musical adaptation of the hit film of the same name returns to the West End.

Larger-than-life lounge singer, Deloris Van Cartier, is relocated to a nunnery by the police to protect her from her gangster boyfriend Curtis Shank. When she hears the convent's failing choir sing, she seizes the opportunity to help her fellow sisters raise their voices and sound heavenly.

With original music by Tony and Oscar Award-winning composer, Alan Menken ('Aladdin', 'Beauty and the Beast', 'Little Shop of Horrors'), the score features songs including 'Take Me to Heaven', 'Fabulous, Baby!' and 'Raise Your Voice'.

'Sister Act The Musical' returns to London's West End after 15 years, where the original West End production was nominated for four Olivier Awards including Best New Musical.

This production is recommended for ages 10+.

See it if You get to see Beverley Knight, do. Her voice is amazing and she makes the show work. Strong 1st half much weaker second but fun overall.
