A new mystery in 1890 London as Holmes and Watson face a deadly jewel conspiracy.
London, 1890. The city is expanding at pace, reshaping itself as ambition and industry consume everything in their path. Newly celebrated after solving his first major case, Sherlock Holmes finds himself restless and unfocused—until an unknown woman arrives at 221B Baker Street bearing a mysterious jewel. What follows is a dangerous pursuit through the streets of London and along the River Thames, as Holmes and Dr Watson attempt to unmask the figure orchestrating a deadly conspiracy.
The production is written by Joel Horwood (The Ocean at the End of the Lane, National Theatre, West End & UK tour) and directed by Sean Holmes (Pinocchio; The Merry Wives of Windsor, Shakespeare’s Globe). Composer Jherek Bischoff provides the score, with set and co-costume design by Grace Smart, lighting design by Ryan Day, sound design by Elena Peña, and movement direction by Charlotte Broom.
