Shakespeare's Globe

Shakespeare's Globe is an off-West End theatre based on the Southbank in London that primarily stages the work of William Shakespeare.
Founded by American actor and director Sam Wanamaker, Shakespeare’s Globe opened in 1997 and serves as a (slightly larger) replica of the original Globe Theatre (1599 to 1613) that was located a few hundred metres away.
It is an open air theatre that boasts a 360° auditorium and houses performances seasonally through the summer months.
