Tense

See it if I can see why it's controversial / elements aren't great but I enjoyed the performances, some of the songs, camera work and the second half.

Don't see it if You're not up for something a bit out there.

Lacklustre, Bewildering, Clumsy, Chaos, Tedious

See it if There is so much going on at once it gets sort of crazy but I suppose that's what creates the atmosphere for the music & characters

Don't see it if you are expecting to see a stage version of the indie film Opening Night from 1977

Misogynistic, Confusing, Poor, Irritating, Distracting

See it if If you want to see the misogynistic musical, that confuses you from start to finish. The only thing to save is the talent of the cast.

Don't see it if If you prefer spend your money more wisely. Read more

Indulgent, Disappointing, Dated, Cliched, Banal

See it if You are a Sheridan fan. Although I believe she is very weak in this role, sometimes people are fans.

Don't see it if Terrible dated script. Weak voices, pitchy. Unmemorable music. Completely annoying direction. What a shame! Read more

Confusing, Excruciating, Disappointing, Chaotic, Ambitious

See it if you are doing West End marathon and need to see every show whatever it is.

Don't see it if you want to have a good night out. And don’t go if you are sensitive to strobe lights. There is a far too long strobe sequence. Read more

Good acting, Excruciating, Atrocious book, Terrible music, Awful

See it if you want to see Sheridan Smith. The cast do their best with the most excruciatingly appalling material.

Don't see it if Nonsensical plot, tuneless music, awful dialogue. One dimensional characters and uses filming and tech ineffectively. Laughably bad.

Great staging, Edgy, Great acting, Confusing, Clever

See it if you want an unusual, thought-provoking, sometimes difficult but powerful play with music, with a fantastic performance from Shridan Smith

Don't see it if you want a traditional song and dance musical that is uplifting and feelgood
