Edgy, Great staging, Great acting, Engaging, Imaginative

See it if you want to see something really strange, a wonder; for impressive physical theatre; just for Felipe Pacheco's performance (the screaming!)

Don't see it if you want something straightforward; want Gregor Samsa to turn into a beetle like the story rather than a butterfly; hate off-the-wall plays

Unnuanced, Shouting, Disappointing, Confusing, Ambitious

See it if you want to see some great projection and amazing physicality

Don't see it if you don't like being shouted at. You want a story true to the original. You like a bit of light and shade. My neighbour left in the interval

Ambitious, Clever, Slow, Insipid, Great staging

See it if you want to see a different interpretation of this story using cool staging and choreography.

Don't see it if The show's greatest merit is its clever staging. Anything added to Kafka's original story fails to capture my interest, personally

Excruciating, Slow, Disappointing, Confusing, Banal

See it if Some impressive movement from Frantic Assembly but more repetitive and with less impact and point than usual.

Don't see it if Genuinely one of the worst things I’ve seen since student theatre. Tiresome, not true to source material, irrelevant marxism and incest… Read more

Repetitive, Boring, Confusing

See it if you haven’t seen any show that uses projection…

Don't see it if you want an engaging show that doesn’t drag on unnecessarily.
