When Ali arrives in New York searching for the mother she has never known, she discovers a hidden burlesque club beneath the city streets. Drawn into its world of sequins, ambition and late-night performances, she becomes part of a tight-knit troupe of dancers and singers whose livelihoods depend on keeping the spotlight shining. As she learns the rhythms of the club, Ali begins to uncover her own voice and place within the company.

The production is executive produced by Christina Aguilera and written by Steven Antin, adapting the original screen story for the stage. Set within an underground venue where personal histories collide with performance personas, the narrative follows Ali’s journey as she negotiates rivalry, loyalty and self-discovery among a community built on spectacle and resilience.

The score features songs by Christina Aguilera, Sia and Diane Warren, alongside new material by Todrick Hall and Jess Folley. Following a previous West End engagement, the musical returns to London, bringing its club setting and pop-driven soundtrack back to the stage.
