What is standing room only?
Standing room only, or SRO, is the cheapest way to see popular Broadway shows. While not all theatres offer SRO tickets, those that do average around $30 per ticket!
Though you will have to stand for the duration of the performance, (unless an usher guides you to an open seat) seeing a show on your feet is a unique and cheap way to get to see productions you couldn't otherwise get tickets to.
Just make sure you show up early enough to get a spot in line!
