This #GivingTuesday, Support Non-Profit Theater in NYC

Some of Broadway's best new shows got their start at non-profit theaters. And we've made it really easy for you to give back to them!

NYC has so many wonderful non-profit theaters — in fact, most nights there are more than 120 different non-profit productions! These companies are on the front lines of creating the next generation of American theater: "Fun Home", "Dear Evan Hansen", "The Great Comet", "Indecent", and everyone’s favorite, "Hamilton", all got their starts in non-profit theater. These companies embrace risk and experimentation and create artistic homes for the country’s foremost artists.

As you probably know, only a small percentage of these theater companies’ budgets are fulfilled through ticket sales. They need your support to make ends meet.

One of our leaderboard members TheaterBuff reached out to us and suggested we build a "one-stop" way to support NYC non-profit theaters. What a great idea!  So we've whipped up a cool centralized web page as part of the #GivingTuesday celebration that showcases all the non-profit theater companies that have welcomed Show-Score members for a “Member Night” and that enable online donations.

If you have enjoyed a Show-Score Member Night (or even if you haven’t yet had the pleasure), please consider making a donation to one or more of NYC’s non-profit theater companies!
