"Birthday Candles" at American Airlines Theatre (227 W 42nd Street) on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 8:00 PM.

What is a Social?

We buy a bunch of tickets at a great price to a show and invite our members to join us. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis. After the show, we hang out together and discuss what we just saw.

What's the Story?

Debra Messing returns to Broadway for the Roundabout in this new play that follows Ernestine Ashworth through her many years and many birthdays and asks: what makes a lifetime...into a life?

What's the deal?

The tickets are $114 in the prime orchestra, $94 in the rear/side orchestra, and $64 in rear mezzanineThese prices include our fee and one house wine, domestic beer, or soda on Show-Score after the show.

Where are we sitting?

This box office doesn't give us precise seat locations, but the theater has great sight lines all around. We make every effort to seat entire parties together, but we are limited to the seating sections provided by the box office.

What else do I need to know?

  • We really encourage you to come by yourself if you can’t find a friend. The whole point of a “social” is to meet fellow Show-Score members who love theater like you do!
  • The tickets are non-refundable. We’ll assign the seats from the ones we bought. Each ticket price includes all fees.
  • A Show-Score Rep will be there to meet you. You’ll get an email in advance so you know who you’ll see there. No waiting in line at the box office!
  • We'll meet after the show. We will let you know the meeting place, and host the gathering. We will cover your drink (house wine, domestic beer, or soda).

If you’re interested but can’t make the dates, or if the seats are gone, please click the buttons above to join the waitlist or choose another date -- we’ll use that info to try and get more seats!

From the show:

Debra Messing (Will & Grace) returns to the stage as Ernestine Ashworth, who spends her 17th birthday agonizing over her insignificance in the universe.

Soon enough, it’s her 18th birthday. Even sooner, her 41st. Her 70th. Her 101st. Five generations, dozens of goldfish, an infinity of dreams, one cake baked over a century. What makes a lifetime…into a life?

A writer of "freewheeling ambition" (Charles Isherwood, The New York Times), Noah Haidle makes his Broadway debut with a poignant new play as fearless in scope as it is tremendous in heart.
