About the show

Is Eliza Doolittle a bad feminist? Diep Tran, the associate editor of "American Theatre Magazine," will lead a discussion for everyone who ever hated the ending of “My Fair Lady,” but still could have danced all night! More…

In honor of the upcoming revival of "My Fair Lady," we discuss our favorite flower girl and whether or not she is a bad feminist. Yes, she speaks up for herself and knows what to do to get ahead in life, but she also ends up returning to a man who is verbally and emotionally abusive. What are we supposed to think about her, both when the show first premiered, and now?

See it if If you like the movie go see it. . It's pretty faithful to the original story, plot, characters, memorable moments, scenes, lines.

Don't see it if If you don't like romantic comedies, or didn't like that movie, or want something deeper, more socially relevant, with more depth.
