Every Tuesday we're turning the spotlight on some of our favorite member reviews. Here are our picks of the week for shows that run 90 minutes or less, including reviews of "Rent Control," "The Wolves," and "Quietly!"

Shakespeare's Polonius tells us that "brevity is the soul of wit," an assessment that the creators of these under-ninety-minute shows would likely applaud. Here are some of our favorite member reviews of the week for great shows to catch when time is of the essence.

See it if you want to see skilled comedic character actor in action. While rambunctious a show, it's still at its core a touching coming of age story.

Don't see it if youre irritated by obnoxious audience members who distract others in the audience and detract from the performance.

See it if you want to see a story told in a setting you haven't seen before. Enthralling soccer drills with scenes playing out. Great work.

Don't see it if you're uninterested in youthful concerns.

See it if You're so moved by 1 intense performance that you can overlook very static staging and familiar themes.

Don't see it if You're looking for a new take on the Irish troubles or to understand how a teenager becomes a terrorist.

See it if A fun, original way to pass an evening. I liked the sing-alongs and audience participation. Feels like it belongs in a dorm or pub.

Don't see it if You don't like alcohol or don't like Shakespeare, or want a quiet evening. The show is boisterous, in a good way.

See it if If you like Ionesco or other absurdist comedy. If you don't like linear story telling and don't mind breaking the 4th wall.

Don't see it if You are confused by quirky comedy that has no set storyline. If you are bothered by weapons onstage or if you are interested in story.

Don't see it if You aren't into musicals, prefer subtlety to over-the-top, or want something dramatic and thought-provoking.

Don't see it if you have issues with viscous fluids.

Don't see it if you're looking for a fantastical tale. This is a very real story about a not-so-pleasant--but important--issue.

See it if you like puppet theater for adults about the challenge to remain human in an urban environment and you like incredibly well-crafted design.

Don't see it if you don't like meditatively paced theater without dialogue and if you need your theater to last longer than one hour.
