Tony season is upon us! Sure, it’s a time to celebrate Broadway, but we can’t forget one very important part of the Tony Awards - FASHION. We love watching the live broadcast each year not only for the stellar performances, but also because we love to see what everyone's wearing as they walk the red carpet! Here’s a look back at what some of the past winners have worn on Broadway’s biggest night.

Cynthia Erivo donned this stunner at the 2016 awards, where she took home Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for her role in "The Color Purple".

"Hamilton" star (and national treasure) Daveed Diggs wore this fun and unique piece last year when he won Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical.

Helen Mirren stunned in 2015 with this all white piece, where she took home the award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in "The Audience".

Broadway queen Audra McDonald wore this bright and beautiful dress in 2014. McDonald won Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play for her role in "Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill".

Linda Cho kept it fun and flirty in 2014 with this lime green high-low dress. She certainly knows a thing or two about fashion - she took home the award for Best Costume Design of a Musical for "A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder".

One thing is for sure - Cicely Tyson was impossible to miss on the red carpet at the 2013 awards! She nabbed Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play for her performance in "The Trip to Bountiful".

Patina Miller showed off her killer figure in 2013. She snagged the award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for "Pippin".

For the gents, there’s nothing quite as sharp as a perfectly fitted tuxedo. And who wears a tuxedo better than Eddie Redmayne? He broke some hearts on the red carpet in 2010 when he won Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play for "Red".

The always stunning Laura Benanti sparkled on the 2008 red carpet in this one-shoulder gown. She went home with the award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical for "Gypsy".
